Good Governance and Leadership

Strengthening Human Rights, Democracy, and Accountability

Mac-Jim Foundation works on programs that support individuals who strive to strengthen human rights and the rule of law, service delivery, innovative local economic approaches, peace & security, transparency and accountability in governance.

Elected representatives, public servants, Community Based Organizations, NGOs and development practitioners are engaged and trained to understand the quality of governance and leadership that drives sustainable community development.

We advocate for credible elections, civic engagement, accountability, rule of law, transparency, equity, and decentralization — building governance systems that serve all citizens fairly and effectively.

Energy & Mining

Addressing the impact of crude oil exploration, exploitation, and mining on the Niger Delta environment.

🌿 Biodiversity

Crude oil exploration, deforestation, chemical use and sand mining have endangered several species. We work to halt biodiversity loss and habitat degradation.

🌡️ Climate Change

Rising temperatures, irregular rainfall, and rising river/ocean levels attributed to fossil fuel use. We address root causes through advocacy and community sensitization.

🌊 Marine Conservation

Protecting and preserving ocean and sea ecosystems — limiting human‑caused damage, restoring damaged areas, and preserving vulnerable marine species.
